Spontaneus Mastic Berry Oil
Mastic (Pistacia lentiscus) is a shrub typical of Mediterranean scrubland, growing wild on our land in Sardinia.
The berries are hand-harvested when ripe and processed by cold pressing to obtain Spontaneus Mastic Berry Oil.
A Plant Rooted in Mediterranean Tradition
Mastic is a species deeply connected to the Mediterranean landscape and culture. Different parts of the plant have been used over time for traditional purposes, with applications varying according to the plant material and preparation method.
The oil obtained from the berries is distinct from mastic resin, a resinous substance derived from the plant and traditionally associated with other uses.
