Spontaneus is committed to preserving and promoting the knowledge of Sardinia's native wild medicinal and aromatic plants.
Spontaneus represents a conscious approach to nature and its rhythms. We are custodians of a botanical heritage shaped over centuries, preserving seeds and plant varieties that tell the story of our land and its traditions.
We give plants the space they need to grow naturally and carefully preserve their seeds, helping to safeguard their heritage for the future.
Hand-harvested with care, thoughtfully processed, and transformed into products inspired by nature and everyday wellbeing.
About us
Natural Service, our family farm, was founded in 2017 with a different vision of agriculture.
Our goal was to move beyond labels and focus on an approach that would be as close as possible to the natural rhythms and growth cycles of plants, working with nature rather than against it.
This choice led to the concept we call:
Spontaneous Agriculture
And from this vision, Spontaneus Sardegna was born.
Since then, we have dedicated ourselves to the preservation, harvesting, and processing of Sardinia's native medicinal and aromatic plants, driven by a desire to share their value, traditions, and unique connection to the land.
Experimentation remains at the heart of our work and inspires the creation of new products that reflect our values and our mission: respect for the remarkable natural environment that surrounds us, stewardship of botanical heritage, and confidence in the future.
Our story
Cistus incanus is the plant closest to our hearts. In many ways, our story began with it.
Our founder, Roberto Tatti, first discovered Cistus incanus through a personal interest in its traditional uses and long history within Mediterranean herbal culture.
It did not take long for that curiosity to become a true passion.
A year later, Roberto began harvesting Cistus incanus for the newly established company Kiscience.
From harvesting and sorting the plant to preparing and shipping the final product, he developed a deep appreciation for this remarkable botanical and its connection to the landscape of Sardinia.
He felt that more people should have the opportunity to discover it, and from that moment onward, promoting awareness of Cistus incanus became an important part of his work.
Today, we are proud to be among the world's leading producers and distributors of Cistus incanus products.

Where We Are
We are based in Sardinia, a remarkable island where nature still expresses itself in all its power and beauty.
Here, the Mediterranean maquis grows beneath the sun and in the embrace of the wind—a wind that shapes, energises, and defines the landscape.
The plants we harvest are nourished by this extraordinary environment and carry its essence within them, quietly sharing the story of this land with those willing to listen.
Our property is located in the Alta Gallura region of northern Sardinia and extends across several hectares dedicated to the natural growth and preservation of wild Mediterranean botanicals.
Among the species that thrive here are Cistus incanus, Helichrysum italicum, Inula helenium, Daucus carota, Rosmarinus officinalis, Mentha pulegium, Myrtus communis, Pistacia lentiscus, and Lavandula species.

Our workshop is nestled in the countryside of Gallura, surrounded by a landscape that is characteristic of this part of Sardinia.
Here, wind-shaped granite formations stand out among the Mediterranean vegetation, and the air is filled throughout the year with the scents of the island's aromatic plants and wildflowers.
Those who have experienced these fragrances will immediately recognise the unique atmosphere we are describing.

We are based in Gallura, one of Sardinia's most captivating regions, renowned for its crystal-clear waters, sweeping winds, Mediterranean landscapes, and majestic granite formations that have shaped the land for centuries.
